The Starlink kickstand base is the genuine white folding stand supplied with the Starlink Standard (Gen 3) dish. It is a two-part hinged polymer frame that folds flat for storage and opens into a fixed V, holding the dish at its intended elevation angle. It is a direct OEM replacement for a cracked, brittle or missing original.

When do you need a replacement kickstand?

Replace your kickstand if the dish has fallen and a frame arm is cracked; the hinge no longer holds the open position; the plastic has gone chalky and brittle after years of UV exposure; you bought a dish second-hand without the stand; or you want a second base so the dish can move between a home position and a travel position without unbolting anything.

Not included: the Starlink dish, router, cables, or pole/pipe adapter. If you are mounting to a pole rather than standing the dish on a surface, you need the pipe adapter instead.

Frequently asked questions

Will this fit my Starlink Mini?
No. The Mini has its own much smaller kickstand. This is the base for the full-size Standard dish.

Is this genuine or a 3D-printed copy?
Genuine OEM — an injection-moulded Starlink part, not an aftermarket reproduction. The photographs on this page are of the actual stock we ship.

Does the dish clip in, or does it need screws?
The dish seats into the moulded cutout. The corner holes are there if you want to fix the base down permanently rather than leave it free-standing.

Can I leave it outdoors permanently?
Yes, that is what it is for. Like any polymer part in direct sun it will age eventually, which is the most common reason people end up buying a replacement.

My kickstand cracked when the dish blew over. Will a new one solve it?
It will get you running again, but a stand that blew over once will blow over again. If wind is the problem, look at a pole or roof mount rather than a free-standing base.

Does it fold flat for travel?
Yes. The two halves pivot together into a flat package.
