When do you need to replace the Starlink Mini power supply?
Replace your Starlink Mini power supply if the dish does not power on with a known-good DC cable; the adapter is warm but the Mini stays dark; the housing is cracked or water has entered it; you want a second supply for a van, boat or second site; or you are moving between regions and need a different plug type.
What is included
Included: 1 × genuine Starlink Mini power supply (UTP-231L) in your selected plug type. 1 × StarMax 3D-printed mount — a free bonus, designed and printed by StarMax as an aftermarket accessory, not a SpaceX product.
Not included: Starlink Mini dish. DC power cable — the Mini is powered through a separate cable, sold separately. RJ45 Ethernet cable.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a genuine SpaceX part or an aftermarket clone?
Genuine OEM. The unit carries the original Starlink markings, model number UTP-231L and a SpaceX part number, all visible in our photographs. We do not sell aftermarket copies of power electronics.
Will this work in Australia or New Zealand on 230 V?
Yes, electrically. The input range is 100–240 V at 50/60 Hz, so 230 V and 240 V mains are within specification. Check that the plug type you select matches your outlet, or use a plug adaptor.
Will it power a Standard Gen 3 dish?
No. This 60 W supply is specified for the Starlink Mini only. Larger dishes draw considerably more power and use their own supply.
Does it come with the cable that connects to the dish?
No. The Mini is powered through a separate DC cable, which is sold separately.
Is it safe to mount outdoors?
The housing is IP66-rated against dust and powerful water jets. We still recommend a sheltered position — under an awning, inside a van, or in an enclosure — as the mains connection itself is not weatherproof.
What is the free 3D-printed mount?
A StarMax-designed bracket that holds the power supply tidily in place. It is our own aftermarket accessory, printed in-house, and is included at no extra cost with every order.
